KBM Resorts is a luxury vacation rental company catering to those seeking out only the most luxe experiences in life. Offering carefully selected and well-appointed vacation rental homes and resort condominiums in Hawaii and Utah, we create lasting vacation memories for our guests with over 200 (and counting) properties to choose from.

In our business, we know the word ‘luxury' gets thrown around a lot. If you're anything like us, you've made the mistake of booking a ‘luxury' property only to find out upon arrival that it's not as advertised. Getting catfished at the start of your vacation? No thanks.

True luxury seekers have to face the daunting task of finding an upscale vacation property that lives up to its name. It just so happens that's what KBM Resorts is all about. Our history has taught us that a guest shouldn't have to choose between the footprint of a private home or condo and the amenity package of a 5-star hotel. Our portfolio of vacation properties gives guests room to spread out while offering concierge services for a handcrafted vacation experience.

In 2008, KBM Resorts began its hospitality career by managing its first two properties in a resort condominium west of Maui, HI. We started as a family-owned and operated business and are proud to say we are still that same family today, just bigger. In 2008, we were a small team of family members with a passion for customer service and engrained in the local area. Could we have used the onsite vacation rental company to take care of these units? Sure. But like any good story, you take the path less traveled. So we did just that.

Managing every aspect of these two vacation rental condos, our small but mighty team did it all with a localized and personalized touch. Guests were greeted by the family and provided a proper Hawaiian introduction to the space (we're talking bear hugs and prideful aloha's). Any needs of the guest would be handled immediately and with a smile. No ask was too great because we knew we were helping create memories that would last a lifetime. Soon, new guests turned into returning guests, and returning guests felt like an extension of our own family.

Over time, word of mouth piqued the interest of other owners in the resort. By 2011, KBM Resorts managed ten condos and knew that to continue the localized and specified service our guests have come to know and love, we needed to grow. By investing heavily in proprietary software systems that streamline the process of booking a vacation rental while providing a 5-star guest experience, within five short years KBM Resorts expanded its footprint in the islands of Hawaii, and today we manage over 140 luxury vacation properties there.

We knew we had a winning formula that went beyond just satisfying our guests and our owners, and we were able to create an experience like no other.

From Sea to Ski

We understand our guests need to travel beyond the beach, so in 2019, we expanded our portfolio to include Park City, UT. "The goal is to provide winter ski and summer hiking luxury accommodations to the same discerning guests that visit our Hawaii destinations", says Josh Motto, KBM Resorts CEO and Founder.

Keeping family values at our core, we brought on an experienced group of property management professionals in Utah and quickly gained an assortment of luxe inventory in this prestigious ski market.

Within our first year of operating in Park City, we gained the trust and confidence of over 25 owners to manage their breathtaking properties. We carefully vet and select our inventory because we believe our guests should stay in a vacation rental equivalent to or better than their primary home. With a combination of first-class service and groundbreaking tech tools, we manage over 200 lavish units total.
