- Overview
- Hawaii reservations of six nights or more arriving from 1/1/2025 - 12/15/2025 booked after 11/11/2024 include a free 4-door rental car from one of our major rental car agency partners, subject to availability.
- Rental Car Agency
- Upon booking and confirmation, your KBM Resorts concierge agent will book for you, on your behalf, a rental car from one of our participating major rental car agency partners: Hertz, Avis, Budget, Enterprise, National, Alamo, or Dollar, selected by KBM Resorts at the time of booking. Your KBM Resorts concierge agent will contact you for the name of the primary driver and any vehicle upgrades (optional).

- Due to the the complimentary nature of KBM Resorts program, rental car agencies may not apply your Point or Loyaly Program benefits to your reservation.

- Vehicle Drop-off
- The default vehicle drop-off is on or before the same time of day at the same location you picked up the car in the designated rental car drop-off area. Other drop-off locations around the island are available at an additional cost - contact us for details. If you drop-off the car more than 59 minutes after it is due, hourly late fees will accrue to your credit card. The date you drop off your vehicle is the 'Last Day' of your rental period.
- Fuel
- Return the vehicle with a full tank of gas unless you purchase the prepaid fuel option when you picked up your vehicle
- Miles
- There are no mileage restrictions, drive as much as you like!
- Minimum Age
- You must be at least 25 years old on the day of pickup.
- Major Credit Card
- You must present a valid major credit card on day of pickup. Debit cards are not accepted.
- Driver License
- You must present a valid driver license with no restrictions on the day of pickup issued by the governing authority of your country of origin.
- Additional Drivers
- Additional drivers may be added at an additional fee. Details avaialble at pickup.
- Existing Insurance Coverage
- Check your existing auto policy or major credit card terms to see if they cover you in the event of an accident or damage. If not, you may purchase insurance on the day of pickup, see 'Optional Insurance' below.
- Optional Insurance
- You may purchase insurance coverage for your rental vehicle directly from the rental agency when you arrive. Purchasing insurance coverage is optional - many guests have some or full coverage under their existing auto policy and/or the credit card agreement used to purchase the travel for rental cars. KBM Resorts strongly recommends you confirm existing rental car coverage from your current policy vendors before arriving to ensure you have the proper insurance coverage.
- Car Seats, Options and Accessories
- Optional features such as child carseats, booster seats, GPS units, roadside assistance coverage, insurance, and similar may be selected from the rental car agency at pickup.
